Two Columbus men were treated at the hospital after being shot in separate assaults Friday, police said.

A 33-year-old man was shot in the abdomen about 3 p.m. in the yard at 770 Terminal Court, police said. The man was taken to The Medical Center where he was in unsatisfactory condition Saturday in the hospital’s intensive care unit, an official said.

Police said the man was shot with a revolver but had no description of a suspect.

More than seven hours later, a 31-year-old man was shot in his left thigh in the yard of an apartment complex at 1033 Adair Ave.

He was treated at the hospital and released after the 10:15 p.m. shooting. Police are looking for a suspect in the shooting. The gunman is described as black, 29-years-old, about 6 feet, 1 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.

Both shootings remain under investigation.
