Police find drugs, almost $1,000 in cash on crack cocaine suspect

A man was charged with possession of crack cocaine Monday after police stopped him on Macon Road, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Tyrone Gary, 28, was allegedly found in possession of 13.1 grams of crack cocaine at about 11 a.m. Monday while police were patrolling near the 3200 block of Macon Road. Police also found $849 in cash in Gary's possession.

Gary was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute. He was transported to Muscogee County Jail.
