A 17-year-old student at Hardaway High School on College Drive was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana Tuesday morning, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

An officer charged the juvenile after the principal called police into his office to discuss the matter. Less than a gram of marijuana was found during the search.

The juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana and taken to Muscogee County Jail.
