Through April 21: St. Jude Dream Home open for tours

The St. Jude Dream Home house, 205 Pebblebrook Lane at the Riverbrook Subdivision in Columbus, GA, will open for public viewing beginning Saturday, March 9. The house will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays and noon-5 p.m. on Sundays every weekend until the giveaway on April 21. Visitors to the house can register free for a chance to win a $5,000 shopping spree at La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries. A limited number of $100 tickets for a chance to win the home will also be available during the open houses.

The St. Jude Dream Home giveaway benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. For more information or to reserve tickets, call 1-800-383-9844 or visit dreamhome.org. Tickets are also available at Columbus area Regions Bank and Action Buildings and Truck Styles locations. The house, constructed by Grayhawk Homes, Inc. is valued at about $300,000 and features 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Granite counter tops, hardwood flooring and ceramic tile, a large covered deck and a landscaped yard are highlights. The house will be given away on WTVM News Leader 9 on April 21 at noon. Other prizes will also be given away.
