C.J. Reed shot a miserable 4-of-16 from the field and finished with 10 points for the Eagles (14-18), who will next meet top-seeded Davidson in Saturday's quarterfinals.

Indiana Faithfull and Spencer Collins each scored 10 for Wofford (13-19), which had won three of its last four to conclude the regular season. The Terriers shot a dismal 34 percent on Friday, including 3-of-20 from beyond the arc.

Wofford held an 18-16 lead after a Collins layup with just over seven minutes remaining in the first half, but didn't score again as Georgia Southern ripped off the final 14 points and took a 30-18 advantage to the break. The Terriers got only as close as eight in the second half.
