A Columbus man was robbed of more than $900 worth of clothing and camera equipment late Friday, police said.

The 31-year-old man drove himself to The Medical Center after the 9:30 p.m. attack on Lamore Street.

Police said the man was in the courtyard of the apartment duplex when a gunman and two other men dressed in all black and wearing ski masks confronted him. He was struck in face with the pistol, stomped and kicked before the robbers left with assorted clothing and camera equipment.

The robbery remains under investigation. No description of the robbers was available.
