Armed juvenile attempts robbery at Stoker's Mobile Home Park

A 14-year-old juvenile allegedly attempted to rob a 22-year-old man at Stoker's Mobile Home Park Monday morning, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Police were dispatched to the mobile home park at about 11:30 a.m. after receiving reports of an attempted robbery. When they arrived, the victim told them a 14-year-old boy had pointed a hand gun at him. Items the juvenile attempted to take were not listed.

Although police filed charges of attempted armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a juvenile and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, they did not arrest the 14-year-old. No explanation was given in the report.
