CarMax hiring 45 for store that is scheduled to open April 20 in north Columbus

March 12, 2013

CarMax, the used-car superstore, said Tuesday it plans to open its new location at 6463 Veterans Parkway, in north Columbus, on April 20.

The 13,000-square-foot store, across from The Hughston Clinic and Hughston Hospital, is looking to hire about 45 people for both full- and part-time positions, the company said. That includes sales, office and service jobs that include technicians, advisers and inventory personnel.

The retailer stressed that automotive experience is not a requirement for many of the jobs, with the exception of technicians who repair and maintain vehicles.
