• American (Double Churches): Sex offender registry and background checks are performed using LexisNexis before managers are announced. Current policy is that no one with pending or convicted charges are allowed to coach.
• Eastern (Edgewood): Sex offender registry and background checks are performed using LexisNexis during registration and are completed before practices begin.
• Harris County (Hamilton): Volunteer applications, background checks (including sex offender registry) by the sheriff's department, coaching certification and board approval must be completed before anyone is allowed to coach. New lanyard system is in place this year with officials wearing proper identification certifying those checks were completed. County commissioners make some background decisions.
• National (Rigdon): Sex offender registry and background checks are performed using LexisNexis before registration. They again run the checks in the middle of the season.
• Northern (Psalmond Road): Sex offender registry and background checks are performed using LexisNexis before managers are announced.
• Peach (Lakebottom): Sex offender registry and background checks are performed using LexisNexis before those individuals have access to players.
• Phenix City (Idle Hour): Sex offender registry and background checks are performed using LexisNexis during registration. If the league needs additional information, the Russell County Sheriff's Office conducts a more in-depth check. City policy is that anyone with felony or drug charges can't coach.
• Pioneer (Britt David): Sex offender checks are performed on all managers and coaches. Background checks performed if time permits.
• Sally (Shirley Winston): Sex offender registry and background checks are performed using LexisNexis before practice begins.
