City accepting hazardous waste, electronics for recycling Saturday

The city will be accepting hazardous waste and electronics for recycling Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the city’s recycling warehouse at 25 22nd Ave., across from the Dolly Madison Baker and behind the Summit service station.

Common household hazardous items that will be collected include, paint and solvents, lawn care products, cleaning products, automotive products and fluorescent light bulbs.

Electronic products that will be accepted include: computers, printers, copiers, fax machines and consumer electronics. Televisions will not be accepted.
