Columbus police are investigating the report of an armed robbery on Winston Road.

A 15-year-old boy told police that on Friday night around 9:30 p.m. that he and three of his friends were walking down Winston Road when a group of four or five other male juveniles approached them. A pistol was pointed at him and money demanded.

The boy gave them $8 and the unknown thieves went away.

The victim said one of the thieves wore a cap and a black sweater.
