Marijuana, meth, cocaine found at two Applebee's

Police found marijuana and cocaine at the Applebee's on Gentian Boulevard and meth at the Applebee's on Airport Thruway during separate incidents Saturday, according to Columbus Police Department reports.

The manager of the Applebee's on the 2500 block of Airport Thruway called police at about 10:15 a.m. Saturday after finding a small bag of suspected drugs in the parking lot. Police estimated the bag to contain 0.9 grams of methamphetamine. Those drugs were logged into evidence.

At about 10:15 p.m. Saturday, police received a report that someone in the women's restroom of the Applebee's on the 3200 block of Gentian Boulevard might have marijuana. After arresting Jessica Thornton, 20, for an unreleased amount of marijuana, police also found cocaine. Thornton was not charged with the cocaine.

Thornton was charged with possession of marijuana. She was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
