Help the Ledger-Enquirer report about corporal punishment (paddling) in schools

Published: March 19, 2013

Do you or anyone you know have a personal connection to the issue of corporal punishment (paddling) in schools?

The Muscogee County School Board is considering the interim superintendent's proposed change to the school district's policy. The change would ban corporal punishment, which is now allowed. The board is scheduled to vote on the new policy April 22.

The Ledger-Enquirer is looking to interview parents, students, educators, doctors or anyone else connected to this issue -- in favor of or against paddling -- in Muscogee, Harris, Chattahoochee, Russell and Lee counties. Please contact L-E staff writer Mark Rice at mrice@ledger-enquirer.com or 706-576-6272.
