A Shaw High School student was arrested and charged with possession of Schedule II drugs Tuesday after a school official found the student with hydrocodone and alcohol, according to a Columbus Police Department report.
An officer was working security at Shaw High School at about 12:30 p.m. when he was informed that a student had pain pills and alcohol. The student was charged with possession of Schedule II drugs and taken to Muscogee County Jail.
Because the student has juvenile status, a name and age were not released.
No further details are available.
