ATHENS - As expected, UGA's pro day brought quite the crowd: Several big-name NFL head coaches were at Georgia's practice facility, including Pittsburgh's Mike Tomlin, the New York Jets' Rex Ryan and Atlanta's Mike Smith. Ryan's twin brother Rob, who got the New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator job after Todd Grantham interviewed, was also there.
Much of the attention was on Jarvis Jones and Alec Ogletree, likely first-round picks. There was plenty of other talent on display, and a bevy of former Bulldogs were on hand to observe: A.J. Green, Justin Houston, DeAngelo Tyson and more. Georgia men's basketball head coach Mark Fox also came, and spent awhile chatting with Tomlin.
The following are some of the drills that Jones, Ogletree and company went through, as well as some of the sights and sounds of the chilly morning:
Jones, Washington and others knock it around for the scouts.
And then they go through shuttle drills.
Back indoors, Richard Samuel and Branden Smith star in the broad jump.
John Jenkins, Kwame Geathers, Jones and others do the broad jump.
A look at the amount of scouts and NFL personnel assembled on the field. When the camera pans to the left, that's Tomlin and Fox chatting.
Players get timed in the 40-yard dash, including Jones.
Alec Ogletree runs shirtless in the 40.
