A woman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine at the Super 8 Motel on Warm Springs Road Sunday after police found a broken glass pipe and a plastic straw with residue in her possession, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Carla Bradley, 31, was arrested Sunday at about 1:30 p.m. after she was pulled over in the Super 8 parking lot. Bradley told officers she had been staying at the Super 8, which was confirmed through the front office. The Seale, Ala. resident was found with a orange straw containing meth resident and a broken glass pipe during a voluntary search of her person and vehicle.

During a 9 a.m. Recorder's Court hearing Monday, Officer Scott Taft told the court the broken glass pipe found on Bradley was found inside her pants near her genital area. It contained recent residue indicating methamphetamine use.

Bradley was charged with possession of a Schedule II drug. Her bond was set at $4,000.
