Woman charged with bringing meth into jail after shoplifting

A woman was charged with bringing methamphetamine into the Muscogee County Jail Monday after she was arrested for shoplifting, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Lynn Davena Dunn, 30, was arrested Monday for shoplifting at an unspecified store. When she was booked into the Muscogee County Jail at 5 p.m. police found an unspecified amount of methamphetamine on her person.

Dunn was charged with possession of meth in addition to shoplifting.
