Two Double Churches Middle School students arrested for indecency on school bus

Two students were arrested Wednesday at Double Churches Middle School after they were found exhibiting inappropriate conduct on the school bus, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Police responded to the school at about 9:30 a.m. after receiving a report of the inappropriate conduct on the school bus. The two students were charged with public indecency and arrested.

Columbus Police Sgt. Art Sheldon said he did not have any confirmed details about what took place during the incident, but said the two students were written up and released to parents.

Double Churches Middle School authorities declined comment at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday.
