Two people arrested at Schomburg Road Publix for possession of Cocaine

Two people were arrested for possession of cocaine and marijuana Thursday evening at the Publix on the 7100 block of Schomburg Road, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Kerry Moon and Dennis Meredith were arrested Thursday at about 6:30 p.m. after they were found in possession of a glass smoking device which tested positive for cocaine.

After the vehicle was searched, police found .5 grams of marijuana, valued at $5.

Moon and Meredith were charged with possession of a Schedule II drug, possession of marijuana and possession of a Schedule IV drug. They were transported to Muscogee County Jail.
