Man arrested for possession of hydrocodone pills, marijuana near Cornell Avenue

A man was arrested at the intersection of Cornell Avenue and Rice Street and charged with possession of hydrocodone Monday, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Kenneth Clay, 17, was arrested at about 12:40 a.m. after police found seven hydrocodone in his left shorts pocket. The officer also found 2.8 grams of marijuana on Clay's person.

The hydrocodone was valued at $175, and the marijuana was valued at $28.

Clay was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a Schedule II drug, and drugs not in original container. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
