TSYS renews contract with Tacoma, Wash.-based Columbia State Bank

April 2, 2013

Credit-card processor TSYS has renewed its processing contract with Columbia State Bank, the company said Tuesday.

Columbus-based TSYS did not disclose terms of the long-term agreement.

Tacoma, Wash.-based Columbia Bank has 74 branches in Washington state and, under the name of Bank of Astoria, operates 25 branches in Oregon.

That does not include Columbia’s purchase of Lake Oswego, Ore.-based West Coast Bancorp, a deal just completed for a reported cash-and-stock value topping $500 million.
