Update: Man faces charges of possession and giving alcohol to minors at house party

Update (Monday, 1:40 p.m.):

Michael Barsdale, 24, faced charges of maintaining a disorderly house and possession of a drug related object during an 8 a.m. Recorder's Court hearing Monday.

Officers said Barsdale was found with 30 grams of marijuana at a party on the 5700 block of Eastside Drive, where he was charged with serving alcohol to 12 minors.

Judge Michael Cielinski set bond for Barsdale's charges of maintaining a disorderly house and possession of drug related objects during the hearing. The bond has been set at $2,000.

A man was arrested at a house party on Eastside Drive and charged with possession of marijuana and providing alcohol to 12 minors Sunday, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

Police responded to the house on the 5700 block of Eastside Drive at about 2:30 a.m. after receiving noise complaints. Michael Barsdale, 24, was later arrested and charged with maintaining a disorderly house, furnishing alcoholic beverages to 12 minors, possession of a drug related object and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Barsdale was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
