Man robbed of $400 on 40th Street

A man reported his was robbed of about $400 in combined cash and goods on 40th Street Saturday morning, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

The man told police that a 6-foot black man with short hair wearing a red Braves Jersey and a red Braves hat robbed him at about 12:50 a.m. Saturday. A brown wallet valued at $40, $200 in cash and $160 in gift cards were taken.

No suspect has been named at this time.
