Crystal Drive resident shot in the foot during burglary

A Crystal Drive resident reported he was shot in the foot during a burglary Wednesday morning, according to a Columbus Police Department report.

The victim told police when they arrived at about 3:30 a.m. at the residence on the 6000 block of Crystal Drive that he was shot in the left foot by a burglar. The man was holding a towel around his foot when police arrived.

The burglar allegedly entered through the back door. No description was provided for the suspect, nor were there any arrests. No goods were listed as stolen.
