April 28: Cuts for a Cure at Brookstone School

April 10, 2013

Brookstone School junior Kate Wilson has organized a Cuts for a Cure event at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at Brookstone School's Illges Gym, 440 Bradley Park Drive.

It's a cause close to Wilson's heart. Her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer last fall and lost her hair due to chemotherapy treatments. Women interested in donating their "ponytails" may bring someone close to them to make the cut. Ponytails must be 8 inches long and free of dyes, bleaches and chemicals.

To sign up to participate, email Wilson at cutsforacure13@gmail.com. Deadline to sign up is April 18.
