Man arrested for $600 worth of cocaine on Alpine Drive

A man was arrested and charged with possession of $600 worth of cocaine Tuesday afternoon after probation officers visited an apartment on Alpine Drive, according to a Columbus Police report.

Matthew Kyles, 24, was arrested at about 5 p.m. Tuesday in his apartment on the 4100 block of Alpine Drive after he was found with six grams of cocaine. An unspecified amount of marijuana was also found.

He was charged with intent to distribute, distributing marijuana near a public school and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
