Tech organizations seeking Impact Awards nominations; deadline is April 30

Two high-tech organizations issued an invitation — and a deadline — Wednesday for companies to submit nominations for its 4th annual awards presentation.

The Technology Association of Georgia and the Southeastern Software Association have set April 30 as the cut-off point for nominations for this year’s TAG SSA Impact Awards. The honors will be presented May 30 in Atlanta, with keynote speaker Alan Dabberie, chairman of Sandy Springs, Ga.-based AirWatch.

The awards are given to those “who have achieved breakthrough results for their business,” according to TAG, which has 248 people active within its Columbus chapter, including 17 members on the organization’s advisory board.

The five awards categories are “technology solutions company, independent software vendor, corporate internal software development group, emerging mega trend, and where Georgia leads (with information security as a 2013 focus).
