Russell County baseball, which was scheduled for a doubleheader on Friday to begin its best-of-three playoff series with Jackson, postponed the games due to weather.

The Warriors will instead begin their series with a doubleheader on Saturday, first game scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

Both Smiths Station and Glenwood will try to complete their games as scheduled.

The Panthers are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Friday. Glenwood, which was originally scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m., has moved its doubleheader to a 6 p.m. start as well.

Stay tuned for any further updates.
