SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Peach Belt Conference Pitcher of the Year Mollie Russell pitched a three-hitter to lead Columbus State to a 4-0 win over host Flagler in the PBC tournament on Saturday.

Russell also had five strikeouts and two walks.

Carr scored the game’s first run on a passed ball. After Nina Rubio walked to load the bases, Morgan Knight struck out.

Kari Waugh and Branigan Wix followed with walks, forcing in runs.

CSU scored its final run in the fourth. Knight and Waugh singled, then Wix reached on an error by the shortstop, which allowed Knight to score for a 4-0 lead.
