Columbus man says he was hit with brick and robbed

A 69-year-old Columbus man told police he was hit in the face with a brick and robbed Friday night.

According to the police report, the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. on 24th Street near 13th Avenue.

The assault occurred in the street.

Reported taken from the man was Timex watch with a black band valued at around $20.

The man suffered an abrasion on the left side of his face near his ear.

Anyone with information should contact Columbus police.
