Phenix City woman stabbed at Columbus mobile home park

A 35-year-old Phenix City woman was stabbed in the chest at a Columbus mobile home park early Sunday morning, police report.

The woman, of a Lee Road 207 address, was stabbed by an unidentified assailant in the upper chest area while at 3212 Plateau Drive, lot No. 106. Police responding to a report of a fight at about 1 a.m. Sunday discovered the woman bleeding from her chest. She was taken to the Medical Center and treated for the wound.

No arrests were made, but the case remains under investigation.
