kprice@ledger-enquirer.comMay 1, 2013

A three-time defending state champion, two region champions and a team that will make its first postseason appearance since 2002.

The Georgia High School Association state baseball playoffs begin today as six local teams begin their quest for a state championship. The seven state champions -- Class A is split into private-school and public-school tournaments -- will be crowned over Memorial Day weekend.

Here's a quick and easy guide on how to follow the games:

Gamechanger: GameChanger is a website that six of the seven local teams in the playoffs use. It's free to view schedules, rosters, live scores and other notes, but it costs $7.99/mo to follow the live gamestream, receive in-game alerts, read the recap story and more.

Twitter: The Ledger-Enquirer sports team will be busy bringing you breaking news from the games around the Valley. Follow the Ledger-Enquirer's sports account for scores from around the Bi-City.
