Shots fired during attempted robbery on First Avenue

Shots were fired during an attempted robbery of three people on First Avenue Wednesday afternoon, according to a Columbus Police report.

Police met with the three victims at a house on the 2900 block of First Avenue Wednesday at about 5:20 p.m. after receiving reports that gunshot had been heard in the area. The victims told police that three men attempted to rob them and ordered they get on the ground.

No injuries were reported. Nothing was reported stolen.

Victims described the first suspect as a 6-foot black man with light skin. He was wearing a white shirt and black shorts during the incident. The second suspect was described as a 6-foot black man wearing a white shirt and dark pants. The third suspect was described as a 5-foot-8-inch black man wearing a white shirt and dark shorts.

No arrests were made.
