Fire at home on 27th Street causes minor damage

A small house fire on the 300 block of 27th Street caused minor damage to the home's living room Thursday morning, according to the Columbus Fire Department.

Chief Ricky Shores said fire fighters received a report of a fire on the 300 block of 27th Street at about 5:17 a.m. The occupants of the home had left shortly before the fire began.

Minor damage was caused to the living room area of the home.

There were no injuries. The fire is under investigation.
