Columbus man reports being hit in head with pistol, robbed on Warm Springs Road

Columbus police are investigating the report of an armed robbery around the intersection of 12th Avenue and Warm Springs Road.

According to the police report, a 60-year-old Columbus man told police he was hit in the head with a pistol and robbed at 3:20 p.m. on Saturday. It happened on a sidewalk in front of an office building.

It was not reported what was taken.

He went to the Medical Center in an ambulance where he was reported in good condition.

The victim said he was robbed by two young black males both wearing a black rain jacket. Each had a black pistol.
