Missing juvenile report leads to meth possession arrest

A man was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine Tuesday while police searched for a missing juvenile, according to a Columbus Police report.

Officers stopped Jason Parks, 30, while searching for a youth on the 3500 block of 14th Avenue at about 10:30 a.m. During the investigation, it was discovered that Parks was in possession of meth.

Parks was additionally charged with drug related objects and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was transported to Muscogee County Jail.

No further details were provided about the missing juvenile.
