Six car batteries stolen from Parts R Us

Six car batteries were stolen from Parts R Us on Aldridge Road on May 2, according to a Columbus Police report.

An employee at Parts R Us told police that a suspect entered the car lot at about midnight on May 2 , opened the hood of the vehicles and took the batteries. The suspect also allegedly caused $300 damage to the battery compartment and grill of one of the vehicles.

A suspect has been named, but not charged or arrested.
