June 1: SISTA Stroll to raise awareness for HIV, AIDS

New Horizon’s SISTA Project will host the fifth annual SISTA Stroll on Saturday, June 1, at the Columbus State University Student Recreation Center. It's 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Admission is free to the public and donations of all amounts are accepted and go directly to the SISTA Project’s initiatives and HIV testing supplies. The event features an indoor track walk, free HIV testing, entertainment and free refreshments. The New Horizon's SISTA Project works year-round to combat the rising cases of HIV/AIDS among African American and other minority women.
