Gunshot hits Booker T. Washington apartment

A 64-year-old woman reported her apartment was shot at Monday morning at the Booker T. Washington apartment complex, according to a Columbus Police report.

Officers arrived at the apartment at about 2:30 a.m., where the victim told police that she heard several bullets entering her apartment and the windows breaking. The house sustained bullet holes in the windows on the north side of the apartment, in the living room walls, bedroom door and kitchen walls.

Four shell casings were located outside of the apartment.

No injuries were reported. No suspects have been named or described at this time.
