A 66-year-old Midland man died on Manchester Expressway Tuesday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest, according to the Muscogee County Coroner's Office.

Coroner Buddy Bryan said that at about 7:45 a.m. Roderick Alan Greer, 66, was traveling on Manchester Expressway near the Walmart on Gateway Road when he began suffering from the heart attack.

He pulled over to the side of the road and hit a guard rail, causing minor damage to his vehicle. He was pronounced dead shortly after.

Bryan said the causes for Greer's death were natural.
