June 13: Columbus Christian Women's Club presents 'Hot Summer Survivors'

Norman Winter, executive director of the Columbus Botanical Garden, will share tips and tricks for maintaining a beautiful garden during the long, hot days of summer. Speaker Amy Carpenter will discuss the challenges, triumphs and joy she experienced in finding her unique and significant purpose in life. Mother and daughter duet, Pam Smith and Eliza Richardson, will present an inspirational singing performance.

The meeting is at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, June 13, at Green Island Country Club, 6501 Standing Boy Road in Columbus. Cost is $20, which includes lunch. Make reservations by Monday, June 10, to attend. Call Anna at 706-315-3197 or Jeanette 706-561-4006.
