What would you name the whitewater rapids?

The course isn't even open yet, and already the outfitter's naming rapids.

Souvenir Chattahoochee whitewater rafting T-shirts for sale at the Whitewater Express office in Phenix City bear upon their backs a map of the 2.5-mile course with names for the rapids customers run names like "Ambush," "Turner's Tumbler" and "Heaven's Gate." Dan Gilbert of Whitewater Express said the names are subject to change. For example, he wasnít entirely happy with "Heaven's Gate" as the title for the tiered rapid formed by the waveshaper in the Georgia channel just below the old Eagle & Phenix Mill powerhouse, and he wasn't sure how well "Wilson's Run," named for the Union general who captured Columbus during the Civil War, would go over here.

So consider the options: Belly Flop, Dunkin' Dough, Heron Scare'em, etc.
