Georgia Tech finishes regular season with a 10-1 win over Miami

CORAL, GABLES, Fla. -- Georgia Tech exploded for five runs in the sixth inning to take command in a 10-1 win over Miami Saturday at Mark Light Stadium.

Brandon Thomas, Zane Evans, Daniel Palka and Thomas Smith each drove in two runs for the Jackets (33-23, 15-15 Atlantic Coast Conference).

Palka, Smith, Mott Hyde and Mitch Earnest homered in the game.

Jonathon King (6-4) allowed just three hits and worked six scoreless innings to pick up the win.

Bryan Radziewski (8-2) gave up four earned runs in five innings and took the loss for the Hurricanes (35-21, 14-16 ACC).

Tech will head into next week's ACC tournament as the No. 7 seed, while Miami will be No. 8. The ACC tournament schedule will be announced on Sunday.
