8-run sixth inning propels Auburn to win over Arkansas

AUBURN, Ala. -- Blake Austin went 3-for-4 and drove in three runs to lead Auburn to an 11-6 win over Arkansas Saturday at Plainsman Park.

Down 3-1, the Tigers (33-22, 13-17 SEC) broke the game open with an 8-run sixth inning. Auburn had six singles in the inning and benefitted from an error, a walk, a hit batter and an intentional walk.

Patrick Savage and Jordan Ebert each had three hits for the Tigers. Ebert homered in the game

Trey Cochran-Gill (1-1) picked up the win in relief. Terrance Dedrick got his 10th save on the season.

Brandon Moore (1-3) took the loss in relief for the Razorbacks (35-19, 18-11 SEC).

Auburn heads into next week's SEC tournament as the No. 10 seed and will play rival Alabama on Tuesday.
