Visit Zoo Atlanta this summer

Head to Zoo Atlanta this summer and you might catch a glimpse of infant orangutan Pongo and his mother Blaze, who are now playing in their outdoor exhibit area. The zoo is open 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, with ticket booths closing at 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday hours are 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., ticket booths close at 5:30 p.m. Extended hours apply to these holidays: May 27, July 4, and September 2. Note: On May 25, ticket booths close at 4 p.m.; grounds close at 5 p.m.

Cost: Admission rates are $21.99 for adults; $16.99 for children, ages 3-11; free for children 2 and younger; $17.99 for military, seniors and college students. Parking is free.
