Springer Opera House announces summer movie series

For the third summer, the Crowley Classic Movie Series will be shown in the Springer Opera House, 103 10th St.

The Thursday-Friday movies start at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, show times are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10; $8 for children 12 and younger.

Here are the dates and titles:

"Goldfinger," June 6 "Pulp Fiction," June 7 "E.T.," June 8 "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil," June 8

"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly," June 20 "Young Frankenstein," June 21 "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," June 22 "Breakfast at Tiffany's," June 22

"Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark," July 11 "The Big Lebowski," July 12 "The Princess Bride," July 13 "Some Like it Hot," July 13

"Rear Window," July 18 "The Shining," July 19 "The Goonies," July 20 "Swingers," July 20

Remember that some of these movies are rated R, and not suitable for very young children.

But many of them are OK for the kiddies.
