Woman threatened with knife, robbed near Sixth Street

A 47-year-old Columbus woman was threatened with a knife late Friday and robbed near Sixth Street and First Avenue, police said.

The woman who did not live in the area wasn’t injured in the 7 p.m. robbery.

In a report, police said they were called to the area to check on a woman screaming in the nearby woods. Police didn't state what was taken from the woman.

No description of a suspect was available in the robbery which remains under investigation.
