Man found with oxycodone, morphine on Cromwell Drive

A man was arrested and charged with being in possession of morphine and oxycodone at his residence on Cromwell Drive Monday, according to a Columbus Police report.

Peter Oates, 44, was arrested at his home on the 2800 block of Cromwell Drive at about 1:45 p.m. Monday after police found him in possession of 10 Oxycodone pills, 4 morphine sulfate pills and 4 Diazepam pills. He was charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule II drug and one count of possession of a Schedule IV drug.

Oates was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
