Trouble for the American Idol Season 12 tour?

File this under "completely unsurprising." This season's "American Idol" concert tour has apparently encountered some problems.

The Hollywood Reporter notes “nine dates of the North American trek have been canceled and one has been rescheduled.” For now, the Aug. 4 Atlanta-area concert is still on.

Like I said, this is another "Idol" update that's hardly shocking. I mean, seriously: Do you think anyone's counting down the days until they can see this season's male singers on tour?

I've been to two "Idol" concerts -- seasons 10 and 11. I liked the season 10 concert (featuring winner Scotty McCreery) better than last season's concert, though it was pretty cool seeing winner Phillip Phillips perform in his home state of Georgia.

I'm already pretty confident this season's experience won't match either of those shows.
