Man arrested near 28th Street for cocaine possession

A man was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine at the intersection of 28th Street and Second Avenue, according to a Columbus Police report.

Steven L Jackson, 46, of Eufaula, Ala. was stopped at the intersection Wednesday at about 6 p.m. During the investigation, police discovered he was in possession of 0.2 grams of cocaine. A glass pipe was also found.

Jackson was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug related objects and excessive window tint. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
